Anime Expo 2008 in LA! (5)

For all the anime freaks and media geeks like me, ANIME EXPO 2008 — which will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, has announced its first Japanese guest of honor. Masamitsu Hidaka, who has directed titles such as Pokemon and Mobile Suit Gaundam Wing will be joining the prestigious line up. Various events will also be held at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. Live.

AX often serves as a platform for new product/service announcements and attracts entertainment, gaming, and media companies such as Disney, Namco Bandai, Nintendo, Square Enix, DC Comics, and much more.

Personally, I go every year to buy all the great stuff you can’t find anywhere else — like a Key Blade from Disney’s Kingdom Hearts series. Don’t forget to pre-order… or for you folks who are lucky enough to get an industry pass like me (*cough*), grab one before its too late. =)

The Anime Expo is one of my favorite events each year! So many great cosplay costumes and tons of stuff to buy.
