Concept: Mobile identifier (0)

Amazing how far we’ve come over the past several months when it comes to mobile + search + location. That is of course thanks to the iPhone + Google Maps. Just found this concept for another approach at making us even lazier. From the looks of this concept you simply hold the clear sheet in front of locations, objects, words, etc and up comes data!

From the site: Choose a building and touch a floor and it tells you more details of the building. You can use it when you want to know a car model, an insect name, what kind of food is served at a restaurant and how much, who built a bridge, etc. With detail informations like that, this gadget might only be used by secret service agents. Very futuristic concept.

The overall form factor seems impractical unless you could wad it up like a handkerchief and stash it in your pocket. Another approach would be to use your iPhone camera + Google Identify. That said, the concept is hot and I want to use it.

OMG! That’s got to be the ugliest hand model I’ve ever seen! Those fingernails are hideous!
