‘Call for Help‘ was this insanely popular tech support show on TechTV in the early 00’s. Leo Laporte and a young Kevin Rose helped people out with common tech questions.

Check out this find from 1998 which is a public access show in Tucson Arizona where it appears they’re doing the same thing. Although I think the intended audience here are hardcore nerds. Check out the ‘floating’ head in the background, that’s ‘UltraNormal’ Kevin Lawver of Ficlets fame.

    i would so watch that show if it were on today. maybe you should get a tech x reunion going. i love the occasional hiphop neck moves you’re cookin back there. punk rock!
