NBC Universal Acquires LX.tv (2)
LX.tv’s original focus was to feature New York and Los Angeles based dining and nightlife through online video. Ex-MTV’ers Morgan Hertzman and Joseph Varet’s vision has been realized since it’s debut in 2006. NBC is looking to expand to other regions as well as other ‘out of home’ experiences.
Word on the street is that NBC is looking grow their business outside of the traditional TV space, increase local content production with a focus on lifestyle and cultural programming.
If you were at Twiistup 3 you may recall seeing our guest host Shira Lazar conducting interviews. Shira also hosts local LA based shows for LX.tv.

I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely will i encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and without a doubt, you’ve gotten hit the nail to the head. Your idea is outstanding; sixty something which inadequate individuals are speaking intelligently about. We’re happy which i stumbled across this inside do a search for something on this.
http://www.zasme.com , new social network - Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
